Scottish Man - Finger Puppet
We have used this one on St. Andrews Day. We love to colour
them in but we are not too good at cutting them out!

Coralie played some Scottish country dance music and we all made our men dance on the
table by sticking our fingers through the holes. We then had a go at dancing
ourselves.
Click picture for full size scotsman which can then be printed out.
Blackbird Puppet
We
made these stick puppets to use at the puppet show we did for our parents.
As well as the blackbirds Coralie and the other leaders made puppets of the
King, Queen and other characters in "Four and
Twenty Blackbirds"

We
made the birds out of black card. The wings were just a folded piece of
card which were pushed through a slot in the bird we cut out of the same card.

We
then stuck on the yellow beaks and wobbly eyes and the leaders helped us to glue
the birds on the sticks.
Wooden Spoon Puppet
Frank
made some flat wooden spoons for us. Coralie had already cut out some
tabards in felt on which we drew the pocket and badge. We painted the
faces and stuck on the hair. We then made some arms for our Rainbow out of
pipe cleaners.
When we finished all our puppets had a Rainbow meeting!
