This game is great when played for fun or as an introduction to a traffic safety evening.  It is based on the phases of traffic lights and the various obstacles and vehicles seen on our roads.

The Rainbows walk in the same direction, spaced out, around the hall.

The leader running the game, shouts out a word and the Rainbows carry out the appropriate action.

	Red - Stop
	Green - Go
	Amber - Run on Spot
	Traffic Jam - All bunch up together in a line
	Ferrari - Run very fast shouting "eeeeyow"
	Tractor - Walk slowly around the hall
	Police -      ¦  For these 3 stand to side of hall to let them pass
	Fire -         ¦  while shouting neeenaw, neeenaw!
	Ambulance ¦
	Accident - All run to the middle of the hall and fall over

Other ideas could be incorporated such as flat tyre - (limp) -  sleeping policemen - (Jump) - etc.
