When a girl joins Rainbows she receives a booklet called "Ready for Rainbows", which will introduce her to lots of pre-Promise activities. The book uses relevant language and pictures for her age group and is in full colour. As before, a Rainbow will make her Promise when she feels happy and ready to do so. This will be at a "party" that she has planned and will be celebrated with the whole unit as well as any special guests she may have invited, for example parents and/or brothers/sisters. |
