Week 1 - Monday - Special barbecue
and introduction to the new Rainbow programme, (Jigsaw).
Friday - Made edible gardens using green jelly and sweets in foil dishes as
suggested by the Rainbows at the barbecue. Sang the new
Rainbow song. Welcomed Leanne who
transferred from the Horley unit. Rainbow chat about the summer
holidays.
Week 2 - Giant Games night - Giant
forfeit game made by Linda - Giant dominoes made by Frank - hop scotch and
giant noughts and crosses. Rainbow chat with Olivia!
Week 3 - Rain Forest Evening - Made a
rain tube - Coloured in "bugs" to decorate the tube - Played a game of
Monkeys and Gorillas - Rainbow chat.
Week 4 - Played "Please
Mr Crocodile" - Made lavender bags using lavender from Jo - New Rainbow
song

5 - Introduced Rainbows to the new Rainbow stickers - Made flower
tabards for the church parade at the "Harvest Festival" - Photos taken in
the church, (will soon be in the members section). - played game
Week 6 - Football night - Designed
football shirts - Gave new Rainbow bags to all
the Rainbows together with the new Rainbow Comic - Had football training
from Sarah - played a game of football.
Week 7 - Spider Night - Made spiders
out of pipe cleaners, pom-poms and wobbly eyes - played spider and fly game
and the hedgehog game - Lydia & Victoria started their "Pot of Gold" books
with Rebecca and Bryony - Welcomed Jennifer into the unit - read some of the
first part of "Olivia's Story" - quick Rainbow chat
